Our Mission & The GADA Way

Our Mission

  • We believe in teaching the love of dance, along with the hard work, dedication, and responsibility that come with it.
  • We believe in fostering creativity and guiding self-confidence through dance.
  • We believe in developing skills that serve every child’s future, no matter their career path.
  • We believe in nurturing students while they are with us, and encouraging their pursuits outside our doors.
  • We believe in our students, and we strive to create memories that last a lifetime.

The GADA Way

  • Experienced, degreed instructors who love teaching kids
  • Balanced training: strong technique with creativity and joy
  • A supportive, non-intimidating culture
  • Clear class progressions by age, style, and commitment level
  • Professional facility with sprung floors and a parent-friendly lobby

Our Round Rock Dance Studio

Our 6,000 sq. ft. academy features five beautiful studios with professional sprung wood floors, state-of-the-art sound systems, viewing windows, and video monitors. The largest studio doubles as a performance space with theatrical lighting. A generous lobby welcomes families with Wi-Fi, three restrooms, and two changing rooms.

We offer ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and Littles classes for dancers across Round Rock and nearby communities.

Community, Not Just Classes

GADA is the best! My two daughters who have danced with GADA for over 5 years have thrived under the guidance of the owner and her instructors... The girls who dance there, mine included, are provided a nurturing and respectful environment... My girls love the place and would go nowhere else.

★★★★★

The teachers are exceptional, the front desk staff are knowledgeable and returns calls, the facility is clean and welcoming... GADA makes it easy to enjoy dancing whether you're a complete novice or an experienced dancer. The summer camps offered are also fun and well run.

Our Story & Team

Greater Austin Dance Academy was founded in 2007 by Sally Reyes, whose vision built GADA into a thriving dance community. In 2024, ownership transitioned to Kelly and Kyle Fieleke, who continue that tradition of excellence while bringing their own energy and experience to the studio. Kelly now serves as Administrative Director, and our outstanding faculty includes dedicated Directors for ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and Littles.

Common Questions

What services do you provide?

Greater Austin Dance Academy offers classes in tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, leaps and turns, hip-hop, musical theater, and contemporary. We have classes for children ages 2–18!

What holidays do you observe?

We operate on the same school-year calendar as most surrounding districts. We're closed for Thanksgiving, winter holidays, and spring break. However, we are NOT closed for Monday holidays (except Labor Day). Monthly tuition is based on the full year and is never prorated due to holidays or absences.

What does my child need for dance class? Do you have a dress code?

We don't have a strict color-based dress code, but we do require appropriate attire for each class type:

  • Ages 2–3: Any color leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes
  • Ages 4–6: Any color leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, and black tap shoes
  • Ballet (level classes): Pink tights, any black leotard, hair in a bun
  • Jazz: Any leotard, shorts or leggings, tan jazz shoes
  • Hip-Hop: Activewear and clean sneakers (indoor-only)
  • Contemporary: Barefoot

Please speak with the director if you have any questions about proper attire.

What credentials do your instructors have?

All of our instructors have deep experience in dance and instruction, and many hold college degrees in dance-related fields. GADA also invests significant time training teachers so that consistent curriculum is taught across classes and instructors. Visit our Meet the Team page to learn about each instructor's background!
