| Check out what others are saying about GADA from recent YELP reviews: "One...singular sensation....every little step she takes." I'm not ashamed to say I dig Broadway musicals. When a show makes it to the Austin area, my wife and I usually end up at a performance. Going to NYC this spring and taking both of our girls to their first show was a vicarious thrill. "One...thrilling combination...every move that she makes." In May of this year, the Greater Austin Dance Academy held their formal dance recital. This year's theme was Broadway musicals and the dancers of all ages tapped and did a ballet routine to some of the greatest songs from shows across the years. "One...smile and suddenly...nobody else will do." Both of my daughters have taken dance classes at this wonderful little dance studio in the last 4-5 years. It has always been the ballet/tap program, but this fall our youngest will be taking the "hip hop" dance class. That should be quite entertaining. (especially the impromptu practice sessions that will break out randomly while I'm watching a football game or something) "You know..you'll never be lonely..with you know who" The instructors are incredible. You know that from the immediate feedback from your child but also from the viewing windows into the little dance studios. You can see the patience, care and skill that they take with all age groups. Some days are observation days and you can actually sit in the class and watch them practice their performances. It is a monthly tuition and they are open from Monday thru Thursday with morning, afternoon and evening classes that run from Sept-May. Their classes include Creative Movement, Ballet/Tap, Musical Theater, Hip Hop and Street Jazz. The materials one needs to purchase depends on the class. For our kids, it means tights, leotards with skirt and shoes. There is a one time registration fee and the monthly rate depends on how many hours your child needs instruction on a weekly basis. (one hour a week runs about $55 to $60 a month) Highly recommended if you have a little girl that is interested in dance and in the Round Rock area. "Do I really have to mention..that...shes...the....one." |
