SALLY TAYLOR REYES

Sally Taylor Reyes has been studying dance for over 25 years and teaching performing arts to students of all ages for
over 10 years. From an early age she has studied tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater. She studied under
Mark Krupinksi in St. Louis where she was a dancer with the American Dance Troupe. She then studied dance and
theater while attending The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating, she continued her dance studies as a
scholarship student at Broadway Dance Center (in NYC) where she had the pleasure to study and take classes from
such dance masters as Frank Hatchett, Mia Michaels, Josh Bergasse, Germaine Salsberg, and David Marquez.

Sally has performed on stages across the country including Disneyland in California, regional productions in Saint Louis,
and Austin's own Zilker Hillside and Paramount Theaters. She has danced and worked with various companies
including American Dance Troupe, The Young Americans, Naughty Austin, and Third Coast Jazz, not to mention
performed in numerous musical theater productions. Some of her favorites include West Side Story, Guys and Dolls,
Once Upon a Mattress, Oklahoma, The Wizard of Oz, The Good Times Are Killing Me, and various Broadway Revues.

Sally Taylor Reyes relocated back to the Austin area several years ago after deciding to place her career emphasis on
teaching and choreography, rather than performing.  Sally feels it is very important for a dance teacher to put the
students' learning first.  She has taught at several dance studios
in the area including Zachary Scott Performing Arts Center, KidsActing, D'ette and Co. Dancers, and in public schools
across Austin. In addition, Sally has been a guest choreographer for Cedar Park HS, Dripping Springs HS, Anderson HS,
Del Valle HS, Reagan HS (in San Antonio), and various dance/drill teams. She has choreographed various musical and
dance team productions some of which include: Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables, Beauty and The Beast, Cabaret,
South Pacific, Fiddler On The Roof, Oklahoma, Bugs, and The Music Man. Sally Taylor Reyes has received various
awards for her choreography, including a B. Iden Payne nomination, special dance team recognitions for her
choreography, as well as directing a top-ranked JH hip-hop dance team.

Sally Taylor Reyes currently holds a BS from The University of Texas at Austin, several state certifications, including
Dance, Drama, and Language Arts for both elementary and secondary levels within the Texas Public Education
System, and an MBA from Texas State University. She has also recently been inducted as a member of the Texas
Association Teachers of Dancing.  Though she has enjoyed each unique experience that has crossed her path thus far,
she is most thrilled to now bring quality instruction to the Northeast Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Hutto
neighborhoods!


Cari Jackson

Originally from Dallas, Cari Murray started dancing at age three. She trained at Tuzer Dancenter, Dallas
Metropolitan Ballet and Ballet Dallas. During the summers she received extensive training at schools all over the
nation including San Francisco Ballet, School of American Ballet in New York
and Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle. Cari attended Southern Methodist University from 1993-1997 where she
received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance. She then auditioned and was invited to dance and
perform with Contemporary Ballet Dallas, Bruce Wood Dance
Company and 5 Degreez of Danze as a dance professional. Cari has taught for Denise Brown at City Ballet and Debra
Swaim at Frisco Dance Force. She has had the privilege of working with choreographers Paul Taylor, Jilliana, Takako
Asakawa and Bruce Wood. Cari is very excited to continue with the Greater Austin Dance Academy dancers and staff.




Mandy Nicole Lynch

Mandy Nicole Lynch has been practicing dance for over 17 years. She grew up dancing at Earle Cobb Dance Studio in
San Antonio, where she served as student, assistant teacher, and teacher. Her training included ballet, tap, jazz,
pointe, and hip-hop.  She was a member and officer of her high school dance team, "The Tom C. Clark Top Cats." She
spent 2 years on the University of Texas Dance Team, performing with them in Daytona, Florida at the NDA National
Dance Competition. Mandy has performed in the San Antonio Symphony’s Holiday POPS show, in several National Tap
Day performances with the Tapestry Dance Company, and in the half-time show of several San Antonio Spurs
basketball games. Mandy is thrilled and feels so blessed to be able to share her passion of dance with the next
generation of dancers at Greater Austin Dance Academy.






Michelle Kaley

Originally from Southern California, Michelle Kaley started her dance career at the age of three. She has been
teaching dance for over 14 years now and has loved every minute of it! While Ballet is her passion Michelle has also
trained in Music Theater, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, poms, cheer, stunting, West Coast Swing. Throughout her
childhood Michelle acted in many national commercials. She also performed in numerous productions with the
Riverside Repertory Theater and the Colorado Academy of the Arts. Michelle moved to Fort Collins Colorado her
Senior year of high school were she danced and performed with Colorado Academy of the Arts, Colorado Dance Arts
and Canyon Concert Ballet. She has danced in numerous
productions such as; The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Wizard of OZ, Romeo and Juliet, and many more!
Michelle has also performed in productions such as; Bye Bye Birdie, Aladdin, Prince and the Pauper, Joseph and the
Technicolor Dream coat, A Christmas Carol, and Guys and
Dolls, to name a few! At the age of eighteen Michelle had the opportunity to open her own dance studio. She ran the
dance studio for four years until moving to Denver where she continued to teach and choreograph for Aurora Dance
Arts and the “Kids in America” performing troupe. Since moving
to Austin in 2006 Michelle has continued her love of dance and performing with her involvement in Ballet Austin,
appearing most recently in their spring performance of “Broadway Today”!  Married to her High School Sweetheart,
Michelle and her husband Cameron have three children, Alexia, Devan, and Aubrey. Michelle is very excited to be in
Texas and can’t wait to share her passion and love of dance with The Greater Austin Dance Academy!


Lisa Warner

Lisa Warner has studied dance for over 20 years, including instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, and modern.  As a
dancer, she performed with various dance/cheer teams, local dance companies, as well as regional performances
throughout Arizona.  

Lisa obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance education, as well as a Masters of Education from Arizona State
University.  She has taught dance for over ten years at many dance studios in the Arizona area, as well as serving as a
high school dance teacher with dance certification.  Lisa has also
served as guest choreographer for many high school musicals including South Pacific and My Fair Lady.    

Lisa relocated with her husband and three girls (Madison, Taylor, and Lauren) to the Austin area, and is thrilled to be
adding her talents to the Greater Austin Dance Academy faculty.  We look forward to having her back at the studio
this season!


Maggie Miller

Maggie Miller has been dancing the past 13 years.  She recently graduated from the University of the Arts, earning
her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Throughout the years, Maggie has had various training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Point,
Modern, Gymnastics, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Singing and Acting. Training at “Dance Unlimited” In Cleveland OH, Maggie
was placed on a competition team. She has won over 50 National titles for solos and numerous other awards and
scholarships. Maggie has also danced with companies such as Foluke Performing Arts, Youth at Risk Dancing, and
Urban Dance Collective.  Maggie has also earned many scholarships for Summer Dance Intensives such as Bates
Dance Festival, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, and Perry Mansfield.  Finally, while
Maggie was vigorously training at the University of the Arts with prestigious teachers, she had the pleasure of
training  with the Philadelphia Dance Company (Philadanco).  GADA is thrilled to welcome Maggie back to their
faculty for the 2009-2010 school year!



Amanda Klohmann

Amanda Klohmann has been studying dance for over 17 years. Originally from St. Louis Missouri, she studied ballet,
pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical and musical theater Krupinski’s Academy of Dance. Amanda was also a member of American
Dance Troupe, a performer at Dance Excellence International Festivals and she preformed in musical theater
productions in the St. Louis area.

Amanda recently moved to Austin after spending four years at the University of Missouri. She is so excited to continue
to pursue her passion for dance and to have the opportunity to share it with the students at The Greater Austin
Dance Academy.
